Special Assembly on World Mental Health Day

Our school observed World Mental Health Day with great enthusiasm and awareness through a special assembly organized in both the Primary and Higher Wings .

The program aimed to highlight the importance of emotional well-being, self-awareness, and mental balance among students. The assembly began with motivational speeches, thought-provoking skits, soulful poems, and creative slogans presented by students, all emphasizing the significance of nurturing a healthy and positive mind.

To encourage focus and concentration, several interactive activities and mindfulness exercises were conducted. Students enthusiastically participated and learned practical ways to enhance their attention, manage stress, and maintain emotional balance in daily life.

A special session on Yoga Asanas for Mental Health was also conducted, where students were guided through simple yet powerful postures such as Sukhasana, Vrikshasana, Balasana, and Shavasana.
These asanas helped students understand how yoga contributes to calmness, concentration, and inner peace. The importance of including yoga and deep breathing in everyday routine for a healthy mind was also discussed.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of gifts and sweets, spreading smiles and reinforcing the belief that mental health is just as important as physical health.

The day served as a beautiful reminder that when we take care of our minds with kindness, compassion, and mindfulness, we create a happier and healthier world for all.
