A career counseling session was organized by J&K police public school Jammu on 06 of November 2024 for the students of 10th and 12th class to make them aware about various opportunities and trends in the field of education. The Resource person for the session was Dr. Rajinder Kumar (Psychiatrist) Dr. Rajinder Kumar , consultant psychiatrist, Sankalp manarog clinic and pulse hospital Jammu. counselor J&K PPS Jammu Ms. Nishu Jangral and coordinator Ms. Malti Adhikari welcomed and gave a brief introduction of the resource person.
Dr. Rajinder Kumar suggested varied ways that how to opt the career in one’s life depending on the capabilities and potential. He talked about how to focus on the chosen career and what are the efforts to be put in to make that dream true. He explained by giving examples of various successful people, that how they achieved the status in spite of lack of facilities and financial support. Dr. Rajinder Kumar motivated the students to be confident and communicative in life. Besides, hard work, time management and focus on the line opted areimportant aspects to be taken care of.
