The World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness at our school under the guidance of Principal Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Headmistress Ms. Anju Sharma, and Coordinator Ms. Meetu Sharma. The event aimed to sensitize students about environmental protection and sustainability.
The celebration commenced with a vibrant street play organized under the leadership of Mr. Sachin, which conveyed strong messages about environmental conservation and the hazards of pollution. The performance received an overwhelming response and set the tone for the day.
A thought-provoking lecture was delivered by students Niharika and Seymon of Class XII, coordinated by Ms.Swati and Ms. Priya. The lecture emphasized the urgent need to adopt eco-friendly practices and reduce our carbon footprint.
The school was beautifully decorated by Ms. Harpreet Kaur, who creatively used eco-friendly materials to reflect the theme of the day. The atmosphere was filled with green spirit and positive energy.
A slogan and poster display was also organized byMs Malti Adhikari, Ms. Archana and Ms. Vandana, showcasing students' creativity and awareness regarding various environmental issues. The posters and slogans encouraged all attendees to take personal responsibility for preserving nature.
The entire event was meticulously captured by Mr. Sunny, who handled photography and videography, ensuring that the memories of this meaningful celebration are preserved and can be shared further to spread awareness.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by the Coordinator, followed by a pledge taken by all to protect and nurture the environment.
At JKPPS students will be given tools that will allow them to feel passionate about all the endeavors that they will apply in different areas of curriculum.
