INTRA CLASS DEBATE COMPETITION ON DEMOCRACY

An Intra-Class Debate Competition was held on the topic “Democracy” for Class IX students, organized by the Social Science Club. The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Headmistress Ms. Anju Sharma, and Coordinator Ms. Meetu Sharma.

The debate aimed to enhance students’ critical thinking and public speaking skills while allowing them to explore the strengths and limitations of democratic governance. The participants delivered well-researched arguments and counterarguments, presenting both sides of the topic effectively.

• Aradhya – Class IX A
• Shanu Singh – Class IX A
• Gurneek- Class IX A
The judges Ms. Swati, Mr. Sunny were impressed by the depth of knowledge, confidence, and articulation demonstrated by the students. After careful evaluation, the following participants were declared winners:

The competition concluded with a note of appreciation from the Social Science Club, encouraging all students to stay informed and engaged in civic discussions.
